I was never really a fan of outlining, but when I found the outlining feature on Word I decided to try it.
Outlining has saved me!!!!
I, of course, outlined Lily's Tree. It wasn't until I got to the ending that I realized I had no idea what order the events of the ending of the book went in, which made the outline very good. I can now consult the outline whenever I'm writing, and know what has happened, what is about to happen, and what order it happens in.
The outline is also nice, because I'm basically telling the whole story without backstory. I don't need to explain anything in the outline because I understand the whole thing.
I saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at midnight! It was wonderful. Here's a video:
Since I have last spoken to you I have done my History Fair Project (probably failed), got my first kiss (OMG!), got a boyfriend (that was okay), lost a boyfriend (he's a loser anyway), and (most importantly) SEEN THE FINAL HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE TRAILER!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!
Seriously though, the latest trailer was pretty awesome. It's definitely the best trailer so far and I loved the fact that they included Draco Malfoy and Severus Snape in it more than they previously have especially since (spoilers!) Snape is one of the most important characters in the whole book.
I have had writers block for who knows how long, but I've slowly been coming out of it. I have wrote a few things that have been in the mind for a while and the first part of my book is finally coming together. The second part has lots to go before it's done.
My cousin is getting confirmed today. For those of you who don't know, it pretty much means she's becoming an adult in the church. I did this back in December, so I know what she's going through. I'm also her sponsor, which is an honor that is normally reserved for those over the age of eighteen, but since I'm awesome, they let me be her sponsor. Sponsor pretty much means I have to take her up to the Bishop, hand him the card with her saints name on it, and smile!
Although smiling wasn't techincally part of the job, I just think it's a nice touch.
I'll update again when I finsih the chapter of Lilys Tree I'm attempting to finish. So you'll probably hear from me in a few months, but hopefully you'll hear from me in a few weeks.
Wow! One week until my birthday!
So, I wrote a new song. It's a Harry Potter paradoy of 7 things by Miley Cyrus. In one Mugglecast episode they played make the music connection. One of the songs they had to connect to Harry Potter was 7 things. The connection made was Harry's feelings about Voldemorts 7 horcruxes.
I'll record the song today and make the music video then post it here.

I'm listening to Mugglecast right now and I'm like OMG!!!!!!! Harry Potter!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!
I've been thinking. My life would be completely different without Harry Potter. I would be a different person. Really! I really, really would! I don't think I would be a writer.
I love Harry Potter so much. One year ago I was reading non-stop. Those 36 hours of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows are just a fog. I can't remember anything except reading. I don't know if I slept or ate or anything. I just read.
I'm so nostalgic.
I miss the hype.
But I've still got the next three movies and September 1st, 2017!!!! Kings Cross, 19 years later!!!!!
I miss one year ago for more than one reason,

I figured out how to add a blog, so the homepage is no longer a blog, but it's now a homepage!
In other news...
Two days until the one year birthday of my favorite book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (I am a Harry Potter obsessive). I'm going to have a Harry Potter marathon in honor of it.
I have published chapter five of Lily's Tree onto my blog (in the links section) so you can view it there. I think I'm going to start putting the chapters on fictionpress.com at some point, so I can get more feedback, but I'm not quite decided, yet.
I'm going to be spending almost three days straight with my friend. She's coming over all day on the thirty-first for my birthday party, then we're going to the Breaking Dawn release party the next day, all day. I'm super excited! Breaking Dawn is going to be almost as exciting as the Harry Potter release party, only I'm more prepared for this. I'm going to get a wristband and camp out, because I want to be as close to the front of the line as possible. I'm also going to try to prevent another breakdown, because I had about three last year!
I've been wondering, once I finish my book, how do I get it published? And how long will it take it to get published? I don't know.
